The KABC Scholarship is a $1000 scholarship given to to one male and one female student athletes. Scholarships awarded will be used towards tuition, fees, or books. Funds will be made payable directly to the institution of higher learning.

ELIGIBILITY:

​

To be eligible for the scholarship:

  • Student must be a senior athlete graduating in May 2023.

  • Student has maintained good standing with the Athletic Department.

  • Student must be attending an institute of higher education in the Fall of 2023.

 

 

PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATION:

  • Submit the application packet to the KABC Scholarship Committee by email at: KABClist@gmail.com no later than midnight on May 3rd.

  • The application packet must include:

    • The completed application form.

    • Your essay (approximately 500 words) stating how your athletic experience at KHS has had a positive impact on you. Explain how this experience will be beneficial to you 

    • At least one letter of recommendation (letters can be emailed directly to KABClist@gmail.com) from a KHS faculty member. ​
